This week’s episode had a two-for-one special for the artist highlight (Grace and Tony; Victoria Vox). Though not a ukulele band, Grace and Tony were highlighted because of the special shout-out below. Cold weather care was also discussed, along with a follow-up to last week’s mention of the Bushman Ukulele Contest.
Shout-out given to Infinity, an 8yr. old who wrote a music review for a concert she went to with her father. You can find her review about Grace and Tony on her father’s blog here. The review ended up making a big splash on a lot of blogs. Congrats Infinity!

Uke on!!!
Hey there Michelle! Thanks so much for the encouragement!
You should post the link to the vine of your student playing the trumpet!
I was gifted a soprano ukulele Thanksgiving of 2012 and have been hooked ever since. Over the past year I have really started to devote time and energy into learning how to play and cant put my uke down! I moved on to a Tenor because the size sound and feel fit me. Earlier today I was watching some YouTube videos with James Hill and found one with Victoria Vox and him together. I then watched several of her playing solo and was very taken with her playing. Fast forward several hours and I was searching for podcasts on the ukulele and found yours. I have listened to all of the episodes now and congratulate you on your efforts, it is great to hear about all things ukulele. There are so many great artists out there and this is my new love and one that will be lasting I am sure! Keep doing what your doing and play long and proud!
Hey there Dylan! That’s so cool how you discovered the podcast. Thanks so much for the encouragement, and be sure to let me know of any other artists you come across in those YouTube rabbit trails! 😉
