This week’s episode seeks to make up for the long delay since last post by doing four artist highlights: Trench, 3T2H, Danielle Ate the Sandwich, and the Ukulele Teacher; along with part two of audio software.
Shout-outs were given to Malc (for part two of his audio recording software question) and Walter (who will hopefully be available as a “field reporter” for the Reno Uke Festival happening 4/24 – 4/27).

Hi !
I’ve just listened to your podcast, because somebody (maybe you ?) gave me the link on youtube.
I’m 3t2h, my real name is Mathias Chanon Varreau and I come from Grenoble, in France.
Thank you for your highlight !
Mathias CHANON VARREAU.
Hello, Mathias! Yes that was me that left the message on YouTube. Thanks so much for visiting the site and listening to the podcast. I’ll be sure to let my listeners know your real name on next week’s episode. Great job on playing the uke too! Hey, what would be a quick summary of that song L’Autostop? Was Google translator right in that it means “hitchhiking”?
Hello ! Yes, the song is about hitchhiking ; the trips of a boy and a girl in a country… It’s not about a murder story, don’t worry !
Haha! Great thanks so much! 🙂 Hey are the other instrumental uke songs on your channel, originals written by you? They’re quite good!
The “valse à l’eau”, “insomnie”, “l’autostop” are compositions, but most of the instrumental songs are gipsy jazz standards. I will upload more compositions later, maybe…
Hey there again, Mathias! Thanks so much for the info. I’ll be sure to update my listeners with that info. Keep strumming! 😉
Lisa
Thanks for the information in the software you use to record with – I would be interested in the video you mention, thanks again.
Malc
Hey there, Malc! As soon as I figure out the software for EZVid, I’ll record the screen shots of me playing around on Audacity. When I get the video up on YouTube, I’ll let you know either on here or via Twitter. Hey, if memory serves me correctly, you mentioned you might purchase a uke in April…where are you at in the purchasing process? Still shopping around?
Hi Lisa,
That’s great re the video (there’s no rush – whenever you can find the time).
Yes still looking for a ukulele (the internet is tremendous but you can get overloaded with information, opinions, etc). Got a bit of a shortlist now which is some progress at least.
Cheers
Malc
